Stay First in Your Customers Minds For Your Services

Remarketing concept

What is Remarketing?

Remarketing, also known as retargeting, is a way to advertise to people who have previously visited your site or used one of your apps.

Many times, when a potential customer visits your site, they don’t buy something—contrary to what you’d hope. Maybe they decide they’ll come back after payday or will ask for it as a gift. This is great, but oftentimes, customers forget.

Remarketing allows you to show your ads to people who have previously visited your website. This way, you can give them a friendly reminder that they had visited and most likely liked what they saw on your site.

How Does Remarketing Work?

Remarketing can successfully keep your company in the minds of your customers.

Whenever they think about whatever service or product your business offers, customers will think of your company first. From completing a sale to reminding potential customers that your company is there and ready to help, remarketing is a great tool to grow your business.

Using Google Ads, we can create different campaigns that will get your ads in front of audiences across the Google Network, which includes sites and apps that allow Google to place your ads on them. We can also make specific remarketing lists to narrow down who you want to target. For example, if someone visited your website, put something in their online shopping cart, but didn’t go through with the purchase, we can target them specifically. Or we can be broader and simply target people who have just visited your site.

Why is Remarketing Important?

Have you ever walked into a room and then forgotten why you were going to that room in the first place? Well, scientists have figured out that our brains rewire themselves to adjust to walking through doorways, which is why we tend to forget. And while it hasn’t been scientifically proven yet, we wouldn’t be surprised if the same were true for opening new tabs in our web browsers.

Have you ever tried to do some online shopping but then got distracted and never went through with your purchase? Maybe you opened a new tab and fell down another internet wormhole. This seems to happen quite often, which is why remarketing is so important.

Remarketing reminds customers that you and your business are there, ready to help them when they need your product or service. And since they’ve already visited your website, they’ll be more likely to make a purchase or request your services.
